Secondhand Hounds is a non-profit animal rescue. Founded in July of 2009, our many volunteers have made a positive impact on the lives of many dogs and cats in our community. Our organization provides safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for animals at risk, while working hard to find each a permanent, loving home! "It starts with a yes"

I first discovered Second-Hand Hounds through an agency partnership we had at the time. I've always had a huge love for dogs, especially bully breeds. A lot of people don't understand the environment and circumstances that these dogs come from and I wanted to help paint that picture. 

Although this film only scratches the surface of what SHH does, my goal was that it would inspire real change. As the famous Josh Billings once said "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself". My hope is that this film inspires more dog lovers to adopt not shop when it comes to finding your forever friend.
